FILM STRATEGY
Ocean Souls (OS) is a non-profit effort - all exec-producers came forward to support this unprecedented documentary film in an altruistic way. The production was financed via Wildlife Media (www.wildlifemedia.org ), a 501 (c3) non-for-profit US organisation
Ocean Souls will be presented to most nature film festivals, we also aim at discussing broadcasting via traditional TV channels around the world and large social media channels.
If the film or future series ever produces a profit, the money will go to the Wildlife Media Org and then to promote Ocean Conservation. Our goal is awareness and impact rather than profit, so we aim at huge broadcasting and global strong social media coverage. At present Social Media followers for the entire team behind Ocean Souls, sponsors, partners and from contributors has reached many million, in a way the reach is already guaranteed. We expect multiple channels to repost our film and future episodes. We will also coordinate translation into multiple languages.
